Intern - Business Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting market research, tracking market news & trends, and identifying brand prospects.
• Assist on pre-sales material creation, including sales material compilation, presentation support, and research on sales leads.
• Support in scheduling and following up on daily meetings, business activities, departmental operations, and inter-departmental relationships.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Dentsu Sports International Global Commercial Team and assist with other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Candidates actively pursuing a college degree preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
• Genuine interest in sports marketing, ideally partnerships or sponsorships.
• Proactive and responsible approach to work, with the ability to handle ad-hoc tasks calmly and flexibly.
• Proficiency in office software and internet applications.
• Exceptional communication, coordination, and management skills.
• Ability to work independently and build strong relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Strong motivation and high achievement orientation.
• Ability to be on-site in dentsu's NYC office at least once a week.

Nice to Have

• Experience or interest in sports marketing, partnerships, or sponsorships.
• Previous internship or relevant experience in business development or marketing.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college program or pursuing a relevant degree.
