About the Role

On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for an IT Quality Assurance Specialist IV for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position at our client's Houston, Texas office. The role involves working on projects that may include platform upgrades, migrations, or new development initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to drive continuous quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute automated test plans
Interpret and review system requirements
Execute regression test cases
Track quality assurance metrics
Collaborate with software developers and end users
Manage and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
Conduct systematic assessments of each product release

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields
6+ years of experience as a QA automation engineer
Hands-on experience with UFT and/or tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, JMeter
Proficiency in VBScript and/or scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
Experience writing complex SQL queries

Nice to Have

Proficiency with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, TestRail, Inflight, Jira, and ServiceNow
Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including Regression, Unit, Integration, System, and Blackbox testing
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Working knowledge of Commercial Gas Transmission Pipeline Systems
Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure
