The role of Digital/eCommerce Analyst involves forecasting eCommerce demand and providing analytical work to improve the consumer digital experience through data-driven decisions, working closely with various teams to aggregate and analyze data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Planning & Analytics, responsible for forecasting eCommerce demand and analyzing data to improve the consumer digital experience.
  • Manage and distribute weekly sales performance reports including insights and recommended actions to optimize business.
  • Own weekly demand forecasts for all metrics and channels, using trend, promotional cadence, and historical data.
  • Provide weekly breakdowns of KPIs and MPs to team members.
  • Develop understanding of all Packs shopping trends through analysis of customer journey and site analytics to build KPI forecasting frameworks.
  • Assist with ad hoc data requests regarding site and marketplace performance.
  • Create reporting that supports a holistic cross-channel view of the customer to better understand consumer behaviors and utilize insights for segmentation and marketing strategies.
  • Manage evolution of digital analytics product implementation and tagging (Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, Power BI, SAP, Shopify).
  • Collaborate with channel leads to create monthly forecast assumptions for ecommerce channels.
  • Communicate planning methodologies, strategies, and assumptions to team and leadership.
  • Partner with retail team to identify omni-channel opportunities.
  • Drive insights to inform conversion rate optimization strategies.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in forecasts and present findings and recommendations.
  • Develop new dashboards and improve current reporting tools to answer key business questions.
  • Continuously evolve analytics processes, reporting, and best practices to scale insights.
  • Advocate for analytics-driven decision making across teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a retail analytics role with a focus on eCommerce.
  • Passionate about driving online sales and working collaboratively across multiple teams and channels.
  • Highly self-motivated, able to multi-task, and initiate projects with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Experience with tools including Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, Tableau, Alteryx, Google Tag Manager.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Proven success in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Power BI, SAP, Shopify.
  • Knowledge of customer journey analysis and site analytics.
  • Experience in demand forecasting and KPI development.

Qualifications

  • Formal education in a related field is a plus but not explicitly required.
