About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior QA Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team at PLAYSTUDIOS US, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual test cases, validating builds, identifying defects, and contributing to the overall improvement of our product quality. You'll work closely with product managers, developers, and offshore QA teams to ensure features are delivered to a high standard. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases to validate builds, identify functional defects, and verify that product requirements are met.
  • Document and report identified issues clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce and relevant context.
  • Perform thorough regression testing after fixes are implemented to ensure issues are resolved and no new problems are introduced.
  • Communicate regularly with product managers, developers, and offshore QA teams to align on test coverage, resolve issues, and understand feature requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of test plans, test cases, test results, and bugs in the appropriate tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Support the QA Manager in refining QA processes, increasing test coverage, and improving overall test efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in QA or software testing.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycles and defect tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured test plans.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, web/mobile app behavior, and testing practices.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn and grow in a QA career.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Exposure to test case creation or automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in mobile gaming or sweepstakes-based apps.
