About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We're looking for a Lead Growth Marketer, Acquisition to own our top-of-funnel motion, accountable for driving monthly trial signups for our PLG business. This role involves defining acquisition strategies, scaling programs, and executing campaigns to increase both the volume and quality of Self Service trials. The candidate will partner with various teams to optimize the signup journey and ensure long-term customer conversion, playing a critical role on the PLG Revenue Leadership team. The position is full-time, hybrid, based out of Oakland, CA and Denver, CO, offering a blend of remote work and in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly trial signup target for Fivetran's PLG business.
  • Develop and execute scalable acquisition strategies across paid, organic, referral, and partner channels.
  • Partner with the Website team to optimize conversion rates across landing pages and signup flows.
  • Build and prioritize an experimentation roadmap to accelerate trial growth and improve trial quality.
  • Track performance, establish leading indicators, and report on progress weekly/monthly.
  • Collaborate with Analytics to segment trial users and align acquisition with ICP and revenue goals.
  • Serve as the voice of the potential trial user, representing their needs in cross-functional forums.
  • Establish repeatable playbooks and scale acquisition programs globally.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or acquisition roles, ideally in SaaS or PLG environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret funnel data, diagnose problems, and act on insights.
  • Experience in at least two acquisition channels (paid search, SEO, CRO, partnerships) with working knowledge of others and ability to think outside the box.
  • Comfort running structured tests and experiments, measuring impact, and iterating quickly.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, influencing teams across Marketing, Product, and Analytics.
  • Impact-oriented mindset, motivated by moving the needle on KPIs and business results.
  • Bias for action, moving fast, prioritizing sharply, and turning insights into results.
  • Resilient, results-oriented, and energized by owning a high-stakes growth target.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with growth hacking mindset.
  • Experience with SaaS or PLG environments.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Marketo, Google Analytics, Heap, Looker, Salesforce, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Bizible, Webflow, Optimize, Census, Drift Chat.
