About the Role

The Lifecycle Marketing Strategist, Cross-sell at Atlassian is responsible for overseeing all cross-sell program performance and improvement opportunities. The role involves collaborating closely with key stakeholders within Performance Marketing, Product Marketing, and Growth to drive multi-channel campaigns aimed at increasing awareness, engagement, and purchases of Atlassian cloud products. This position is remote-friendly and focuses on delivering the cross-sell goal through data analysis, strategy development, and campaign optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all cross-sell program performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze data for targeted products and identify touchpoint improvements across the customer journey from awareness to purchase.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive selling strategies and distribution plans for cross-selling initiatives.
  • Measure and analyze data and metrics related to product messaging and performance against targets to optimize campaign activities.
  • Design communication strategies that align with objectives through effective messaging, personalization, and audience segmentation.
  • Implement and improve email and in-product messaging campaigns by providing messaging strategies, best practices, and testing recommendations.
  • Work with Product Marketing, Product/Growth, Data Science, Advertising, and SEO teams to achieve cross-sell goals.
  • Coordinate experimentations with Product/Growth teams and report on pacing, providing insights on what works well and areas for improvement.
  • Identify programs to catch up with the goal when pacing behind and find opportunities to improve revenue, efficiency, and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in managing email campaigns, strategy, and experimentation.
  • Experience in working with advertising and organic channels to optimize multi-channel user journeys.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand data and translate it into insights.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication with a solid foundation in marketing principles.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and organizational planning capabilities.
  • Problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, large enterprise environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and navigate undefined roles and responsibilities.
  • Self-driven, highly adaptable, and comfortable owning cross-functional planning, reporting, and goal-tracking.

  • In-product messaging experience.
  • Experience in implementing complex customer contact strategies, segmentation, and governance across multiple products.
