Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy across multiple channels including email, push, SMS, in-app, and on-site, from concept through execution and analysis.
  • Develop and execute campaigns, leveraging data and insights to optimize existing journeys and build new ones for a cohesive user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Content teams to connect technical capabilities with business objectives.
  • Enhance data capabilities through understanding APIs, data management, and system architecture.
  • Oversee data cleansing, documentation, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Optimize data ingestion from data warehouses, APIs, and third-party connections into Iterable, the email service provider.
  • Manage both recurring journeys and one-off campaigns, ensuring flawless delivery in collaboration with email operations.
  • Identify customer pain points, ideate solutions, and use user insights to refine campaign strategies.
  • Design and implement experimentation plans to optimize existing lifecycle and behavioral journeys.
  • Execute A/B and multivariate testing, analyze trends, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Share results and learnings across teams to inform broader marketing initiatives.
  • Act as a central connector across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Content teams, leading project kick-offs, strategy sessions, and planning meetings.
  • Provide clear, timely communication on project status to all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, and retention marketing with proven end-to-end campaign management.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing detailed projects to completion.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Confident communicator capable of influencing and aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in an agile, test-and-learn environment with an innovative mindset.
  • Proven project management skills and successful cross-department collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation software such as Iterable or Braze.
  • Familiarity with automation, AI, and machine learning features within CRM tools (nice to have).
  • Bachelor's degree required (BA or BS).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CDP tools such as Tealium.
  • Familiarity with automation, AI, and machine learning features within CRM tools to enhance personalization and efficiency.
