About the Role

Recently named for second year in a row as one of PA's "Best Places to Work", Herspiegel Consulting LLC is seeking experienced life science consulting Managers to join their team. The role involves taking immediate responsibility for projects and leading client relationships, with opportunities to broaden skills in disease area knowledge, project management, communication, and collaboration. Consultants are client-facing, critical thinkers contributing to project planning, execution, and relationship building across various therapeutic areas and project scopes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead client engagements and build long term client relationships managing multiple projects simultaneously
Development and management of projects including project plans, strategic deliverables, concise communication of project status and recommendations to senior level clients, tracking and adherence to project hours
Development of client deliverables including business cases, therapeutic area landscapes, commercial launch plans, strategy documents, tactical plans, educational resources, and others
Conduct client customer interviews (HCP, patient, payer) and report generation
Motivate, coach and serve as a role model for project team members
Own responsibility for work product quality and relevance to client decisions
Contribute to thought leadership and innovation within client projects
Identify business opportunities
Increase depth of knowledge in therapeutic areas and pharmaceutical commercialization to apply to client projects

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced life science degree highly preferred
Minimum 5+ years of prior management consulting experience in the life sciences industry
Proven project leadership responsibility
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and well organized
Candidates must be local to the greater Philadelphia region to support onsite client work
Reliable transportation to sites around NJ, PHL, DE area

Nice to Have

MBA or advanced life science degree
