Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Shopper Marketing agenda for Walmart, focusing on Paid Search and digital brand shops, including item prioritization and creative alignment with marketing initiatives.
  • Lead omni-shopper programming for select Nestlé Coffee and Beverage brands.
  • Partner with the eCommerce Retail Media Manager to align Walmart Paid Search campaigns with division strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Walmart-specific Paid Search strategies, monitor and analyze campaign performance, and optimize for business goals.
  • Manage relationships with agency teams and Retailer Media Networks to ensure performance accountability and stay updated on platform capabilities.
  • Manage agency partners and vendors, including briefing, evaluating strategies, and creative development.
  • Develop shopper programming with an omnichannel approach (Paid Search, digital media, in-store).
  • Create selling tools and presentations to support sales in securing retailer support.
  • Lead strategic internal annual planning in coordination with the eCommerce Retail Media Manager and Walmart team, aligning plans with customer needs and division priorities.
  • Identify and execute test and learn plans to improve business performance and internal capabilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the organization and with the retailer, including delivering presentations for buy-in and results.
  • Manage the customer-specific Paid Search and omni-shopper marketing budget, including both working and non-working dollars.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of CPG brand/marketing/sales and/or Shopper Marketing experience.
  • 4+ years of CPG eCommerce (Paid Search) or CPG Shopper marketing role preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced analytics, digital, and omni-commerce knowledge.
  • Experience in Sales & Marketing, leading marketing and/or shopper communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Thrives in change and is comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of US military experience.
  • Understanding of the omni-channel environment with proficiency in paid search investment.
  • Understanding of US retailers and their go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong collaborative nature and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Curious, takes initiative, and develops creative and innovative ideas with strong project management skills.
  • Financial acumen related to managing a budget, ROI analysis, and budget optimization.
  • Influential and effective communicator proficient in storytelling and negotiating.
  • Ability to leverage data and trends to generate insights and solutions that drive shopper behaviors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Positive, all-in attitude and willingness to embrace change.
