About the Role

This position will lead the strategic development and execution of social media efforts within our portfolio. The role is responsible for growing brand awareness, increasing engagement, and driving sales through innovative social media strategies. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the fashion and retail industry, digital trends, and platform-specific best practices and excels at balancing multiple brand voices in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements social media strategies aligned with each brand's identity, goals, and marketing calendar.
  • Tailors social media content to target different audiences across multiple social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Analyzes competitors and industry trends to position the brand at the forefront of social media.
  • Collaborates with creative and brand marketing teams to create compelling, on-brand content for each platform.
  • Oversees the creation of graphics, video, and other multimedia content.
  • Maintains a consistent posting schedule, while adapting to real-time opportunities.
  • Monitors follower comments and influencers to build and nurture each brand's online community.
  • Monitors brand sentiment and proactively manages crises or negative feedback.
  • Monitors, analyzes, and reports on the performance of social media campaigns, making data-driven recommendations to optimize results.
  • Tracks KPIs such as follower growth, engagement rate, website traffic, and sales attributed to social media efforts.
  • Collaborates closely with brand marketing, PR, creative, and ecommerce teams to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
  • Partners with paid social media on campaigns, working with digital marketing teams to execute targeted ad strategies.
  • Leads the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
