About the Role

The Marketing Advisor at Compass is responsible for shaping all agents' marketing and branding projects from concept to execution. This role involves providing project management, strategic support, and empowering agents to achieve their marketing goals. The position aims to make clients' marketing efforts more efficient, impactful, and less time-consuming while collaborating with various stakeholders to create effective marketing strategies that enhance the agent experience on a broad scale. The role is based 100% on-site in the Center City Office in Philadelphia and supports the company's mission to help everyone find their place in the world through innovative real estate solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class client service by consulting with customers daily to identify their marketing needs, develop strategic marketing plans, and assist in executing those plans efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and outstanding client service to real estate agents, supporting their work from start to finish.
  • Learn and advocate for the Compass platform, promoting the value and application of its products, tools, and programs to customers.
  • Create strategic marketing plans aligned with the Compass platform to maximize budget effectiveness across tactics such as branding, print advertising, digital, social media, direct mail, video, and paid media.
  • Organize and assemble creative work like print ads and brochures using InDesign, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Liaise between the company's design team and agents to coordinate project delivery, including photography, copywriting, and content development, maintaining brand cohesion.
  • Provide personalized experiences for customers, including recognition notes and targeted marketing strategies.
  • Analyze and optimize marketing plans to inform future strategies and exceed agent expectations.
  • Work with advertising and media vendors to secure agent advertising spend, budget allocations, and local branding opportunities.
  • Stay informed about national and local real estate market trends and industry forecasts.
  • Cultivate relationships with customers to foster a sense of community and culture.
  • Inspire and empower colleagues by embodying a positive and constructive approach to creating and implementing change.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of marketing experience.
  • Skilled communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build and manage relationships with empathy and handle objections.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategy and planning, with the ability to identify effective tactics across multiple channels.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with ownership over accounts and collaboratively within a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities and multiple roles.
  • Passionate about marketing and technology, with the ability to articulate its benefits.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
  • Prior real estate industry experience is preferred.
