Marketing & Advertising Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead digital marketing campaigns to attract and retain recruits.
• Post at least 2 engaging social media updates per day across multiple platforms.
• Plan and manage ad budgets: $4,000/month (Social Media) and $5,000/month (Google Display Network).
• Use demographic targeting, geofencing, and A/B testing to boost ROI.
• Coordinate monthly reports on impressions, clicks, conversions, and more.
• Design promotional content (flyers, banners, brochures) using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Maintain strong relationships with Army leadership, public affairs, and civilian partners.
• Represent NYARNG at professional marketing conferences and events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital marketing, advertising, or media strategy.
• Expertise with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of demographic targeting, marketing funnels, and performance analytics.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with military structure or government contracting.
• Knowledge of ClickCease, Buffer, Mailchimp, or Zapier.
