Marketing Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the events team by researching venues, maintaining internal event tracking lists, and preparing firm-wide event-related communications.
• Work with the marketing technology team to support email marketing efforts related to events.
• Maintain firm marketing event invitee lists and track RSVPs.
• Draft and post website content related to events and maintain event-related content on the firm Intranet.
• Provide onsite support at client-facing events, including virtual webinars, off-site events, and conference sponsorships, which may require being onsite outside of regular hours.
• Support the Director of Change Management & Operations with firm initiatives, including creating and tracking project plans, managing stakeholder events, budgets, travel, and invite lists.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least two years of professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Executive presence with the ability to build relationships among lawyers and staff.
• High level of collaboration and ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet use.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Nice to Have

• Events experience or experience working for a law firm or other professional services firm.
• Working knowledge of email marketing and web technology.

• Bachelor's degree
• At least two years of professional experience
