About the Role

The Marketing Assistant is a support and education resource for the marketing team at Protea Medical Center, serving as an advocate for the company's mission. The role involves creating content, coordinating filming and video content, and facilitating solutions for marketing initiatives. The position promotes a culture of positivity, health, and integrity, and plays a key role in educating about high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check Protea Marketing text chat daily to respond to any time-sensitive issues/requests from the team
  • Collaborate with physicians and team members to create video content to post on a recurring basis
  • Actively participate in meetings and present ideas for marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Craft engaging content tailored to Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube platforms
  • Work with the Marketing Specialist to schedule filming days and create new video content with team members
  • Perform any other agreed marketing-related tasks as assigned by the Protea Marketing Team, management, or owners

Requirements

  • Proficiency in basic marketing platforms such as Canva, Google Drive, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Ability to understand the Protea brand, products, and services to develop organic content
  • Previous experience working with diverse groups of individuals
  • Technically savvy with Google Drive, MAC computers, and social media applications
  • Reads, writes, and communicates clearly and effectively
  • Ability to create content with integrity for business purposes
  • Proactive planning and scheduling with marketing contributions
