Marketing Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate event vendor applications
• Track sales, number of cakes, event stats, and timelines
• Maintain the event calendar
• All things events admin
• Initiate 'Day-Before' group hype texts
• Post-event reporting
• Be the face of the brand at big events
• Lead the charge on setup, serving, and all things cake
• Bring the good vibes and samples
• Help manage donation calendars and partnerships
• Assist with bakery-level marketing campaigns, community initiatives & social planning
• Contribute to bakery GM's area marketing plan
• Attend community events and connect with organizations
• Help with Chamber Luncheons, ribbon cuttings, and other community events
• Help create and plan social media content, especially for community event campaigns
• Manage social media calendar and learn about Soci platform

Requirements

• Experience with social media
• Willing to learn
• Experience in Events coordination, social media, or marketing (preferred)
