Job Description

About the Role

The Marketing Associate works in accordance with established policies and procedures of the community with specific instructions from the Marketing & Sales Director. The role involves creating and distributing positive branding messages verbally, in person, and through collateral for the promotion of the company's services and amenities to prospective persons. The position also includes overseeing social media platforms and providing other administrative support functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with CRM through making phone calls and sending emails to prospects.
  • Collects and compiles customer feedback in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by company management and leadership.
  • Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
  • Participates in occasional "secret shopping" and/or touring of other senior living communities.
  • Collects and maintains sales records required to track, review, and modify performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Gathers annual competitor rate investigations.
  • Forecasts and analyzes sales trends, marketing strategies, and product performance; prepares and presents reports summarizing information; makes recommendations based on analysis.
  • Develops and distributes materials related to sales, training, and marketing.
  • Assists in maintaining collateral inventory.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Attends occasional marketing events (occasional weekend day(s) both on and off campus).
  • Contributes creative writing and proofreading to collateral, blogs, newsletters, websites, and other forms of advertisement.
  • Manages social media communications and platforms along with other digital responsibilities as assigned, taking an active role in the community's social media strategy.
  • Uses Publisher, Canva, and other graphic design programs or software and collaborates with other marketing staff to coordinate and create the marketing newsletter.
  • Uses applications to create marketing video messages, video tours, and presentations.
  • Provides administrative support to the Marketing and Sales Director as requested.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in business, promotional sales, customer service, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with (or ability to learn) digital creative software such as Canva, Publisher, etc.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Will accept equivalent work experience in business, promotional sales, customer service, or another related field.
