Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations of Lifecycle Nurturing Team.
  • Assist in the administration of Marketo and related business applications such as Ringlead, Twilio, Conversica.
  • Define, implement, and maintain marketing automation best practices including data quality and hygiene, list management, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Research new technologies, software, plugins to enhance and further Lifecycle Nurturing capabilities.
  • Manage data collection, standardization, normalization.
  • Collaborate with teams to collect research and smoothly implement new processes.
  • Execute marketing campaigns and best practices for Marketo; lead scoring, profiling and segmentation, system integration, data hygiene, optimization, troubleshooting and reporting.
  • Support cross-functional teams providing technical expertise on issues involving sales and marketing tools and databases.
  • Properly escalate key issues when they arise.
  • Attend vendor meetings as needed.
  • Design and optimize integrations between marketing technology, CRM, etc. through close work with internal technology teams.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain marketing automation operations including programs, behavior-based campaigns, lead scoring, email templates, forms, customer segmentation to increase marketing pipeline and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytics for team KPIs and campaigns.
  • Work with internal teams to A/B test and optimize customer experience and conversion rates.
  • Design and maintain an actionable prospect database with long-term data hygiene and list management processes.
  • Develop and deploy behavior- and event-triggered email communications with dynamic content.
  • Collaborate with marketing team and internal clients to develop campaign assets that generate results.
  • Create and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, browser notification, SMS, others).
  • Experiment with new technologies and leverage personalization to create resonant customer journeys.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably Marketing or IT-related).
  • Operations minded (systems and processes, efficiency-focused).
  • Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience administering Marketo.
  • Experience with marketing operations (automation, CRM, metrics reporting) in a B2B, fintech, or fast-paced tech environment.
  • Thorough understanding of customer journeys, funnels, fly-wheel methodologies, lead scoring, and automation implementation.
  • Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS for simple adjustments to emails, landing pages, and forms.
  • Ability to understand and identify underlying business needs and problems to deliver lasting solutions quickly.
  • Marketo Certified Expert.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and concepts.
  • Knowledge of integrated marketing communications.
  • Knowledge of educational marketing.
  • Fast learner and a desire to learn more.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Incredibly detail-oriented.
  • Results oriented with strong follow-through skills.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong marketing project management and planning skills.
  • Ability to spot data-driven opportunities.
  • Solid experience troubleshooting complex data issues.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Strong functional and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience managing large-scale marketing databases and improving database quality, compliance, and governance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Workfront, Jira, Wiki, Salesforce, Tableau.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Marketing or IT).
  • Minimum 2 years experience with Marketo.
  • Experience with marketing operations and CRM systems.
  • Marketo Certified Expert.
