Job Description

About the Role

The Cloud Marketing Manager role is to develop messaging, create sales enablement materials, feed campaigns, and collaborate across internal and external teams. This role has a deep understanding of the cloud market and government buyers and will develop the overall marketing strategy and execution for a tier-one technology company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create content and collateral based on U.S. public sector market and customer research data and insights about target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process for the technology vendor's product.
  • Create collateral, whitepapers, presentations, videos, blog posts, and more, to communicate the value proposition of our offerings, and drive strong organic traffic leading across a high performing buyer's journey.
  • Work together with marketing colleagues and resources to produce relevant content for target buyers and help socialize among sales teams.
  • Sales enablement: Ready our sales development representatives and account managers to carry our message(s) to market with consistency and confidence through programs and curated sales content.
  • Translate complex concepts into enablement materials that are extremely simple and clear for sales to understand.
  • Create playbooks, sale rep emails, call scripts and contact cadences, leveraging industry best practices, to improve client engagement.
  • Develop the competitive comparison guides for use in positioning against similar offerings from competitors.
  • Compile relevant customer references, testimonials, and case studies for external and internal use.
  • Conduct/review interviews and perform ongoing analysis to determine the level of customer product understanding and integrate feedback into messaging and enablement materials.
  • Regularly elicit feedback from sales reps to better understand the current climate and build / optimize sales enablement materials to meet client needs.
  • Ability to use persuasive and compelling storytelling when communicating in various situations, understands how to be concise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree with Marketing Field of Study preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.
  • Able to use relevant computer system applications at an intermediate level.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud markets and government buyers.
  • Experience creating sales enablement materials and marketing collateral.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for sales and marketing content creation.
