About the Role

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communication Specialist to join the Data, Power and Control Team on a REMOTE basis. The role involves leading the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, and content channels to support product launches and key initiatives. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams, managing campaign performance, budgets, digital tactics, and media strategy. The Marketing Communication Specialist will oversee content development, digital event coordination, SEO/SEM efforts, and public relations to drive brand awareness and business growth. The role emphasizes promoting a positive attitude, initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, project manage, execute, analyze, and present on all stages and aspects of various marketing communication campaigns, including product launches, public relations, digital marketing, digital events, social media, and online media.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders from Product Management, Product Marketing, Marketing, and Sales Teams to lead efforts in bringing products, initiatives, or ideas to market and achieving key business objectives.
  • Establish a review cadence for each major campaign and initiative to analyze performance and provide recommendations for optimization based on past results and future objectives.
  • Select vendors and tactics as well as manage monthly expenses to ensure budget goals are met without waste or underutilization.
  • Lead or support the creation of various content types aligned to brand standards, including product literature, promotional or educational videos, digital ads, web pages, and more, ensuring content is posted and promoted across multiple channels.
  • Plan and execute all aspects of digital campaigns, including programming and sending email marketing campaigns, social media posts, and paid media.
  • Work with Product Management, Sales, and other interested parties to capture and optimize content for improved SERP results, including setup and optimization of AdWords and SEO campaigns.
  • Coordinate topics with Product Marketing and write content to promote and launch campaigns.
  • Execute the overall event plan related to campaigns and launches, including digital events such as webinars.
  • Work closely with the Digital Operations team to manage and update website content for the relevant marketing area.
  • Share campaign and launch plans with the Content Development Manager to ensure thought leadership campaigns are executed in collaboration with a PR agency, develop and implement PR strategies, and incorporate PR into launch campaigns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with emphasis in Marketing, Communications or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing role overseeing projects from ideation to delivery and review.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and audit process.
  • Proven work and educational experience in marketing for at least 5 years.
  • Experience with marketing campaigns, execution, and planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, evaluate situations, and implement solutions quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of Marketing Automation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
