About the Role

The Senior Vice President, Client Services leading Life Sciences (LS) and Manufacturing is responsible for the overall management of the LS and Manufacturing client portfolios across North America. This role involves ensuring performance and customer satisfaction of a complex, highly technical, and demanding group of clients, with interaction at the C-Level environment. The position requires developing strategic and tactical plans, understanding industry dynamics, and nurturing relationships to drive growth, loyalty, and retention. The role also focuses on introducing innovative processes, technologies, and services to enhance value for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represents the values of C&W Services to the account teams and the clients
  • Oversees the successful operational delivery of contractual scope
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key customers to build trust and partnership at strategic levels
  • Develops front line service delivery team and leadership, ensuring safety culture, technical competence, and proactive service orientation
  • Delivers top and bottom-line financial results
  • Drives innovation in service execution to bring more value to clients
  • Creates a culture of continuous improvement and operational rigor
  • Acts as a true business partner to customers, exploring mutually beneficial opportunities
  • Identifies new growth opportunities, including new service lines, geographies, and cross-selling
  • Proactively assesses and clarifies customer needs
  • Coordinates involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives
  • Manages and attends Quarterly and Annual Business Review meetings for key accounts
  • Communicates regularly with key customers on company updates and initiatives
  • Expands relationships with clients to drive strategic communication
  • Leads joint strategic account planning with performance objectives and milestones
  • Builds evolving client retention strategies
  • Develops annual operating budgets and forecasts, managing full P&L, client retention, and growth
  • Updates executive leadership on strategic plans, opportunities, risks, and financial results
  • Establishes account growth and renewal plans, engaging cross-functional resources
  • Builds rapport with various internal functions to support service delivery and minimize risk
  • Leads safety culture initiatives and ensures safety programs are in place
  • Ensures account performance aligns with financial and strategic goals
  • Implements account strategic plans supporting company and client initiatives
  • Drives continuous improvement through innovation and best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing collaborative relationships across all organizational levels
  • Exceptional senior customer relationship management skills in Life Sciences and Manufacturing
  • B2B leadership experience with a track record of driving value through services
  • Strong entrepreneurial, problem-solving, and business acumen skills
  • Well-established negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Effective presentation skills for executive audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence teams
  • Experience and understanding of Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Facility Services
  • Experience in business development and senior delivery roles is strongly recommended
  • Ability to manage effectively in a matrix organization and lead high-performance teams
  • Results-driven with project management capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in facility management services and/or B2B support for Manufacturing or Life Science clients, including five or more years in major account management
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to travel 50% for internal and external meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in facility management services and/or B2B support for Life Sciences and Manufacturing clients
  • Five or more years in major account management

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation range of $267,750.00 - $315,000.00
