About the Role

The Media and Entertainment team within Global Partnerships works with Google's largest Media partners to drive business and profitability through Google's platforms, products, and insights. The team focuses on current and future business opportunities for our partners by building trusted-advisor relationships with C-Suite and executives at partner organizations, is knowledgeable about the industry that the partner operates in, and by thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit to help drive new business opportunities and areas of focus for the partner and Google. In this role, you will help grow our relationships with our most strategic media partners by helping them set-up and optimize their use of the Google Ad Manager (GAM) platform to drive new and existing programmatic revenue opportunities. You will also help our partners grow business across all platforms (app, web, etc.). You will work closely with other members of the account team and cross-functional Google teams (eg. gTech, GTM, Business Intelligence) to support the day-to-day management and promoting across their book of business and will provide training, implementation support, revenue optimization, business support and strategic consulting to the partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Google Ad Manager platform programmatic expert for media partners, providing specialized support at any stage including implementation, day-to-day questions and business strategy.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with Google Ad Manager partners through close, daily collaboration with partner account owners of all seniority levels.
  • Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of Google Ad Manager's partners, products, and services as it relates to growing the book of business.
  • Understand partner needs and opportunities for growth and promoting existing business.
  • Manage time-sensitive escalations related to business performance changes, product issues specific to a given partner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Knowledge of digital industry trends (header bidding, privacy, etc).
  • Knowledge of digital advertising business generation in video, mobile and display with Google solutions.
  • Knowledge of media and entertainment content owners business solutions and ecosystem.
  • Ability to understand business generation metrics and apply them to potential optimizations.
  • Excellent communication and collaborating skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
