Marketing Director

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the internal marketing strategist for the Segment, advising senior leadership on brand positioning, market trends, and customer engagement.
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with business goals and global brand standards.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of marketing professionals to foster innovation, collaboration, and performance excellence.
• Translate complex business insights into actionable marketing strategies that address sector trends and client needs.
• Collaborate with global marketing, consulting, and sales teams to ensure consistent execution across regions.
• Drive the creation of compelling content, campaigns, and collateral tailored to target audiences.
• Manage external agencies and internal resources to deliver high-impact marketing programs.
• Support global PR and digital teams in building awareness through thought leadership, media engagement, and digital content.
• Oversee marketing operations including campaign infrastructure, analytics, and reporting.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to annual planning and budgeting processes with data-driven input and strategic foresight.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required, (MBA preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles in global B2B environments.
• 4+ years experience as a people leader.
• Proven success in developing and executing global marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies.
• Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and integrated campaign development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, blogs, podcasts).
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and innovation-driven organization.
