About the Role

The Marketing Director at bergenPAC will play a pivotal role in elevating the organization's brand, driving ticket sales, and promoting bergenPAC's mission to deliver world-class entertainment and arts education. This high-visibility role requires a dynamic and strategic leader with experience in digital marketing, brand management, and high-level talent campaigns. The Marketing Director will create and execute innovative marketing campaigns that showcase bergenPAC's performances, classes, and community impact, positioning it as a premier destination for the arts in the New Jersey/New York area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that includes digital, social, email, and traditional channels to maximize bergenPAC's brand exposure, drive ticket sales, and increase enrollment in arts education programs.
  • Lead high-impact campaigns to promote bergenPAC's diverse roster of high-profile performances and artists, as well as special events and educational programs.
  • Maintain and elevate bergenPAC's brand identity, ensuring consistency and recognition across all touchpoints.
  • Identify and reach new audience segments through data-driven marketing tactics, partnerships, and creative outreach initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to engage younger demographics, families, and underrepresented communities, building long-term loyalty.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging content, including video, graphics, social media posts, email campaigns, and web content.
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance bergenPAC's online presence and drive organic traffic.
  • Work closely with programming to promote shows featuring high-profile talent and exclusive performances.
  • Develop press releases, manage media requests, and oversee advertising partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with development, programming, and education departments to align goals and support bergenPAC's mission.
  • Analyze ticket sales data, audience insights, and campaign performance metrics to continually refine marketing strategies.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust tactics to optimize marketing ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a preference for experience in the arts, live entertainment, or nonprofit sectors.
  • Proven success in leading campaigns that drive revenue, brand growth, and audience engagement.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media, and content marketing.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, reporting on campaign performance, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage diverse audiences.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends and audience development.
  • Results-oriented, with a passion for using data to inform strategy and optimize campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
