About the Role

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans that support the solutions and services within the U.S. Advisory and Brand Intelligence Center of Excellence at IQVIA. The role involves collaborating with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand market dynamics, customer landscape, and client needs, then using insights to develop strategic marketing plans, influence pipeline growth, optimize spend, and measure ROI and revenues. IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights, and healthcare intelligence, committed to improving patient outcomes and population health worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a consistent persona messaging platform that clearly articulates the positioning of our Advisory and Brand Intelligence business, the key differentiators, value proposition, and how individual personas benefit within the life sciences industry.
  • Lead the marketing plan process including market trends and competitive landscape understanding, audience analysis, key message development with differentiated positioning and value propositions.
  • Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns that translate marketing objectives and strategies into successful tactics aimed at increasing awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Coordinate with the U.S. Marketing team to incorporate best practices and leverage capabilities to drive efficiencies in campaign development, execution, and measurement.
  • Leverage new and innovative technologies to build impactful, integrated marketing campaigns using web, digital, email, search, social media, PR, and traditional print advertising.
  • Develop and execute content marketing and Thought Leadership strategies to support key initiatives and promote a consistent industry-leading voice.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop sales support materials such as capabilities presentations, sell sheets, case studies, white papers, and webinar content.
  • Work with marketing operations and outside agency partners to ensure professionalism and adherence to brand guidelines in all collateral and conference graphics.
  • Implement metrics around campaign results, report performance to senior leaders, course correct as needed, and suggest improvements to maximize marketing ROI.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining CoE marketing expense budgets, ensuring budgets stay on track and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Track marketing campaigns from top of funnel to bottom funnel, measuring and communicating performance in business and marketing reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in developing successful strategic marketing plans that drive business growth.
  • Proven track record in creating innovative marketing campaigns to grow thought leadership and established businesses.
  • Strong digital marketing experience with the ability to track and report ROI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of understanding and articulating complex ideas and solutions.
  • Ability to build solid cross-functional relationships and work effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment with some ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Desirable: Experience in healthcare marketing, pharma commercial functions, or B2B technology marketing.

  • Experience in healthcare marketing with an understanding of pharma commercial functions.
  • Experience in technology B2B marketing.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in marketing or related field.
  • Extensive experience in strategic marketing and campaign development.

  • Potential base pay range of $107,900 to $300,800 annually, with variations based on qualifications and location.
