About the Role

The Marketing Director at Caribou Creek is responsible for developing and executing the company's overall marketing strategy to drive exponential growth and brand awareness. The role involves shaping unique offers, managing brand identity, and building out comprehensive marketing programs in a bootstrap environment. The company has a nearly 40-year history as a leading log builder, primarily serving the northwest US with ambitions to expand nationwide and globally. The ideal candidate is autonomous, innovative, and experienced in digital marketing, with a passion for storytelling and results-driven tactics.

Key Responsibilities

Creating overall Marketing Strategy & Goals
Shaping unique Offers for Caribou's distinct target audiences
Framing tactics to execute on strategy
Developing metrics to measure success on tactics deployed
Executing & refining tactics
Auditing & adjusting preexisting Marketing means
Producing & maintaining a living Marketing calendar and budget
Defining key customer persona types and locating their ecosystems of influence
Owning and shaping the Brand
Finding and managing partnerships & influencers

Requirements

5+ Years Experience in brainstorming with senior leadership to think big picture
Experience giving executive readouts of overall departmental metrics and direction
Writing copy for emails, landing pages, websites, etc.
Overseeing multimedia assets and campaign management
Managing content within platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
Getting in front of prospects with products that resonate
Measuring results on tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe, Hubspot, etc.

Nice to Have

Experience building out a comprehensive marketing program from scratch
Ability to envision strategy while also executing it
Experience in growing brand awareness to key target markets

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
Marketing experience of 5 years (Preferred)
