Marketing Director

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the firm's business objectives, including market analysis, target audience identification, and competitive positioning.
• Monitoring and reporting on budget utilization, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency.
• Analyzing and reporting upon marketing performance.
• Maintaining and enhancing the firm's brand image through consistent messaging across all marketing materials.
• Partnering with the Business Development team to drive marketing initiatives in support of firmwide growth.
• Conducting market research to identify profitable opportunities and trends.
• Performing competitive analysis to understand market positioning and identify areas for improvement.
• Leading and mentoring the marketing team, fostering a results-driven culture focused on ROI and profitability.
• Overseeing marketing team activities including interviewing, hiring, training, and supporting staff.
• Overseeing the creation, curation, and management of high-quality content across various platforms such as blogs, social media, websites, and email marketing.
• Developing and managing comprehensive content strategies aligned with marketing goals.
• Overseeing marketing aspects of proposal development to ensure compelling presentations.
• Managing ROI of company-wide sponsorships and industry events.
• Managing market research efforts to identify opportunities and threats and adjusting strategies accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in marketing, with deep understanding of the AEC industry, including market trends, key players, and client needs.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies within a professional services environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with at least 5+ years of people management experience.
• Expertise in digital marketing tactics and excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills to measure marketing campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to perform work without supervision.
• Valid driver's license and automobile.

• Experience managing a marketing department.
• Experience in the AEC industry or related professional services.
• Ability to develop innovative brand positioning strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of marketing experience, including leadership roles.
• At least 5+ years of people management experience.
