About the Role

We are hiring a Marketing Brand Director who will be responsible for leading, developing, and executing brand building and marketing plans for Optimum Nutrition, the #1 sports nutrition brand. This is a high visibility and key leadership role within the organization with regular interaction and exposure to senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of 360 activation plans and marketing communications inclusive of digital media, retailer media, influencers and brand ambassadors, in-store customer activation that delivers against marketing objectives and long term brand equity growth plans.
  • Lead and develop communication strategy and storytelling across portfolio that support strategic lines of business.
  • Oversee storytelling and communication of the brand's overall marketing strategy and activation plans both for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee agency management to ensure strategic partnership and linkages across the various agencies, internal creative team, and brand team.
  • Oversees brand marketing budget to ensure key ATL/BTL initiatives are efficiently supported and deliver against marketing objectives and drive spending efficiencies to maximize working dollars.
  • Drive rigor against KPIs leveraging analytics to ensure we are constantly optimizing tactics across the various elements of the funnel and linking to business results.
  • Drive alignment across brand and marketing KPIs to ensure overall brand strategy and annual plans are being properly supported.
  • Champion best in class execution leveraging creative assets to drive brand distinctiveness and breakthrough in the marketplace.
  • Manage omnichannel marketing strategy across the funnel including communication and activation plans.
  • Manage marketing budget reflecting brand objectives.
  • Oversee agency management to deliver fully integrated marketing plans across the funnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years or more of brand marketing or brand equity experience.
  • Strong leadership skills in managing/influencing teams and implementing key business initiatives.
  • Ability to comprehensively understand and convert consumer, category, competitor, and channel/customer insights.
  • Successful track record of developing creative methods for growing brands.
  • Ability to effectively apply knowledge of business drivers to deliver financial objectives via P&L management, budget development and tracking, and demand/financial forecasting.
  • Knowledge of advertising process and evaluation as well as new product launches.
  • Advanced MS Suite skills, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital media, influencer marketing, and brand activation strategies.
  • Experience managing large marketing budgets and agency relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing or brand equity.
