About the Role

As a Global Marketing Director (GMD), Oncology, you will translate our science into commercial success throughout the product lifecycle by ensuring you drive competitive product profiles and build long term brand value through working in partnership with the cross functional oncology team. You will lead the development of insight-driven global product strategies and plans, deliver ambitious long-range forecasts, enable outstanding launches, and ensure excellent customer experience in partnership with co-create markets through creating omnichannel content. This role reports to the VP Medicine Commercialization Lead (MCL) of Immuno-Oncology (IO) in Oncology. You will develop and implement global brand strategies, support launches such as Rectal Cancer, and drive long-term asset value expansion within GSK's Pharmaceuticals business, ultimately aiming to improve patients' lives worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish themselves as the GI commercial lead and expert, supporting the Marketing Commercialization Team and Medical Development Team, and part of the Global brand commercial leadership team.
  • Lead Global launch and launch readiness for Rectal Cancer in collaboration with the US LOC.
  • Support governance deliverables and workstreams aligned to key decisions for the organization.
  • Lead lifecycle management strategy in GI cancers to drive additional value for the asset, determine unmet needs, launch sequence strategy, and optimize approaches to markets.
  • Understand, value, and prioritize sources of differentiation by leveraging cross functional insights, elucidating implications of emerging data and competitive launches across cross functional teams and strategies.
  • Develop GI brand strategy and deliver launch/brand plan in accordance with Integrated Asset Plan (IAP) across customer segments including Patient, HCP and Payer, in partnership with key cross functional partners and LOCs.
  • Develop strategic choices (positioning, segmentation, targeting, etc.) and promotional strategies.
  • Partner with Insights to deliver global forecast aligned to strategy, generating recommended assumptions and strategic input.
  • Ensure the market access strategy underpins decision-making throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Lead and build team followship to ensure brand strategy execution for maximum commercial success and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify future strategic opportunities to drive long-term asset value expansion through assessment of unmet needs, commercial valuation, and science.
  • Elucidate required SG&A and commercial model to optimize Brand performance in global markets.
  • Drive a culture of trust, respect, transparency, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science or business.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in roles such as early commercial, marketing, business development, insights and analytics, forecasting, pricing and market access, development, or portfolio analytics.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in oncology across a range of solid tumors and hematological cancers.
