About the Role

The Marketing Director (Community Liaison) at Priority Management Group is responsible for leading community engagement and public relations efforts within a healthcare setting, such as hospitals or nursing facilities. The role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the organization’s services, fostering positive relationships with community agencies, government personnel, residents, and their families, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The position aims to support the organization’s vision of exceeding resident and family expectations while creating an exceptional work environment for staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining sound operations.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain effective marketing and public relations programs.
  • Communicate effectively with community groups, government agencies, personnel, residents, families, and the general public.
  • Analyze information from various sources and make recommendations to the Administrator.
  • Work harmoniously with other personnel and maintain good employee relations and morale.
  • Seek and incorporate new methods and principles into existing practices to improve community relations and marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Community engagement experience of at least 5 years.
  • Writing and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and government agencies.
  • Advanced training in hospital or nursing facility administration.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing facility administration.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, and interpret programs and policies.
  • Thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, community relations, and government relations.
  • Ability to effectively present ideas to community groups and agencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience in healthcare marketing/public relations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare setting marketing or public relations.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (preferred).
  • Five years of experience in healthcare marketing/public relations may be recognized in lieu of a degree.
