Job Description

About the Role

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans that support the solutions and services within the U.S. Advisory and Brand Intelligence Center of Excellence at IQVIA. The role involves collaborating with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand market dynamics, customer landscape, and client needs, and using insights to develop strategic marketing plans that include business objectives, marketing strategies, value propositions, persona messaging frameworks, and campaign calendars. The person will influence pipeline development, optimize spend, and measure ROI and revenues from marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a consistent persona messaging platform that clearly articulates the positioning of the Advisory and Brand Intelligence business, including key differentiators, value proposition, and benefits for individual personas within the life sciences industry.
  • Lead the marketing plan process by understanding market trends, competitive landscape, audience analysis, and developing key messages with differentiated positioning and value propositions.
  • Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns aimed at increasing awareness, generating leads, and driving customer engagement.
  • Coordinate with the U.S. Marketing team to incorporate best practices and leverage capabilities for campaign development, execution, and measurement.
  • Leverage new and innovative technologies to build impactful, integrated marketing campaigns using web, digital, email, search, social media, PR, and traditional print advertising.
  • Develop and execute content marketing and Thought Leadership strategies to support key business initiatives and promote industry-leading voice.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop sales support materials such as presentations, sell sheets, case studies, white papers, and webinar content.
  • Work with marketing operations and external agencies to ensure professionalism and adherence to brand guidelines in all collateral and conference graphics.
  • Implement metrics around campaign results, report performance to senior leaders, course correct as needed, and suggest improvements to maximize marketing ROI.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining marketing expense budgets, ensuring they stay on track and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Track and measure marketing campaigns from top to bottom funnel stages, communicating performance in business and marketing reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in developing successful strategic marketing plans that drive business growth.
  • Proven track record in creating innovative marketing campaigns to grow thought leadership and established businesses.
  • Strong digital marketing experience with the ability to track and report ROI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and articulate complex ideas and solutions.
  • Ability to build solid cross-functional relationships and work effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment with some ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Innovative thinker with a desire for continuous learning.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in healthcare marketing with an understanding of pharma commercial functions such as sales operations, marketing, brand management, and managed markets.
  • Experience in technology B2B marketing.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.

  • Potential base pay range of $107,900 to $300,800 annually, with variations based on qualifications and location.
