We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Internship to support our marketing efforts. This internship is a fantastic opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced not for profit environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in updating and maintaining the school's website.
  • Lead the creation of new website pages and landing pages using a content management system (CMS) like WordPress, Webflow, or similar platforms.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks on the website to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to implement new website features and optimize user experience (UX).
  • Assist in setting up and monitoring Google Analytics goals and events.
  • Help track key website metrics such as traffic, bounce rate, and conversion rates.
  • Generate reports and provide insights on website performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in analyzing data to understand user behavior and inform marketing strategies.
  • Assist in developing and scheduling content for social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Help monitor social media channels and engage with the online community.
  • Assist in tracking social media performance metrics and generating reports.
  • Research and identify new trends and opportunities for social media growth.
  • Support the marketing and admissions teams with various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials, presentations, and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in digital marketing and a desire to learn.
  • Some experience with or knowledge of website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Blackbaud) is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Understanding of SEO principles.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Meta ads and Google Search ads is a plus.
  • Experience with social media platforms in a professional or academic setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and curious mindset.
  • Must be creative and have a sense of humor.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with or knowledge of website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Blackbaud).
  • Experience with Meta ads and Google Search ads.
