About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Marketing Manager (contract) dedicated to supporting the BARDA program, which aims to advance next-generation point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) solutions for emergency medicine and trauma care. This role will be instrumental in executing BARDA program deliverables, managing cross-functional timelines, and leading stakeholder engagement initiatives—including a Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and a national clinical partnership with the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). The position is remote with 20% travel within the US, and involves managing multiple strategic initiatives in healthcare marketing and product positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of a multi-year Customer Advisory Board (CAB) program, including developing charter, member profiles, engagement strategy, coordinating meetings, managing logistics, content development, follow-up actions, and synthesizing insights into product and marketing strategy.
  • Serve as the marketing liaison for a national clinical partnership focused on emergency medicine, coordinating participation in summits, chapter meetings, and strategy sessions, aligning messaging with broader marketing goals, and capturing clinical insights to support product positioning and adoption.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to define and validate the value proposition, evidence generation, and reimbursement strategy for BARDA-supported innovations, including developing differentiated value propositions, coordinating evidence generation, managing claims matrix planning, and supporting reimbursement strategies.
  • Drive execution of commercial activation deliverables such as value proposition development, claims matrix coordination, evidence generation, customer stories, and testimonials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, clinical, regulatory, regional marketing) to ensure alignment and timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
  • Track progress against milestones and provide regular updates to leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare marketing or product management in the USA.
  • Demonstrated experience developing healthcare product value propositions, supporting evidence generation, and navigating reimbursement strategies including coding and coverage pathways.
  • Proven experience managing advisory boards, KOL panels, or customer councils.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with emergency medicine, reimbursement, or POCUS technologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare marketing or product management, specifically in the USA.
  • Knowledge of healthcare product value propositions, evidence generation, and reimbursement pathways.
