Marketing Operations Manager, Global Rare Diseases

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Medical, and vendors to execute National Conferences for assigned strategic pillar(s).
• Serve as the primary point of contact and own relationships with organizers and vendors.
• Manage all National Conference and Sponsorship requests in Chiesi Events Hubs with appropriate documentation and ensure timely processing of requests and funds.
• Travel to and oversee select National Conferences to ensure proper execution of booth initiatives, literature shipments/returns, and associated marketing programs.
• Lead all cross-functional planning meetings, prepare and present pre-conference and post-conference materials.
• Execute speaker programs in partnership with compliance and enterprise operations, manage the Chiesi Events Hub platform, and act as an admin once launched.
• Support sales team in execution of speaker and patient programs, including HCP contracting, process management, and reimbursement.
• Support metrics reporting, KPI implementation, and compliance reporting.
• Manage promotional literature print and fulfillment, including inventory levels, dissemination, and forecasting.
• Project manage print processes from quoting to fulfillment and tracking shipments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in a supportive role in marketing, marketing operations, event management, or administration, preferably in pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Strong project management and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Self-starter and team player with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor of Arts or Science in business management, communications, marketing, or related field from a four-year accredited university.

Nice to Have

• Experience with vendor management and contract processing.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Familiarity with platform management such as Chiesi Events Hub.
