In this role, the individual will play a critical part in supporting Marketing Operations through both project and portfolio management. This includes: Portfolio & Project Management Support planning, execution, and tracking of marketing initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with strategic goals and ensure timely delivery. Maintain visibility into project health, resource use, and prioritization. Tools & Process Expertise Master the marketing project lifecycle and work management tools like Adobe Workfront. Use Excel and Power BI to analyze performance, resource allocation, and portfolio health. Drive efficiency and informed decision-making through data. Portfolio & Project Insights Track and report key metrics—request volume, cycle time, resource use, and throughput. Identify trends and opportunities to improve outcomes. Own recurring reports and respond to support requests with a focus on continuous improvement. Cross-Team Collaboration Work with marketing teams to support strategic initiatives. Build relationships to align priorities and resources. Coordinate projects to streamline workflows, monitor progress, and enhance operational efficiency. As a Specialist, you'll develop and support marketing information capabilities and insights for production or internal business partners. This can include responsibility for business and data analytics projects, including development and maintenance of intermediate statistical models and related analyzes. This can also include developing the business understanding vital for analytics projects, obtaining and leading related data, performing analyses, interpreting results, outlining requirements for analytical solutions as needed, providing insights to internal clients and helping implement insights to marketing decisions. You also may work on projects through one or more of the delivery cycles from initiation, solution scoping, design, development, and analytic execution through implementation. You'll help document business rules, business cases, requirements, information requirements, analytic requirements and implementation strategy for changes and improvements to customer information and decision making both in an analytical and operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning, execution, and tracking of marketing initiatives within portfolio and project management frameworks.

  • Build data visualizations to support business needs.
  • Assist with developing business and data analysis to drive objectives.
  • Participate in workstreams of analytics projects and help generate understanding of business processes.
  • Help develop and improve statistical models, including machine-learning models, and assist in their deployment.
  • Interpret statistical and analytical results and support continuous improvement.
  • Support research projects to measure consumer perceptions and satisfaction.
  • Facilitate business implementation planning and post-implementation reviews.
  • Influence change and gain support from leadership for new processes and methods.
  • Develop governance, documentation, and training around new processes.

Requirements

  • Experience managing multiple marketing projects with workflow navigation, data analysis, and process optimization skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and work management platforms like Adobe Workfront.
  • Strong analytical skills including regression, decision trees, multivariate analysis.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and report project status to stakeholders.
  • Experience with problem solving in a business environment and working with large customer or prospect databases.
  • Knowledge of analytic lifecycle, business intelligence, database warehousing, SQL, and research methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with problem solving, data analysis, and process improvement.
  • Preferred: familiarity with report automation, portfolio governance, or agile methods.
  • Educational background in business, marketing, or operations is a plus.
  • Typically five or more years of related experience in analytics and data analysis.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Adobe Workfront is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity.
  • Experience with report automation, portfolio governance, or agile methodologies.
  • Degree in business, marketing, or operations is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate studies with postgraduate studies preferred.
  • Typically five or more years of related experience in analytics, statistical methodologies, and data analysis.
