About the Role

The Marketing Project & Event Strategist at Billings Clinic ensures the execution and delivery of service line marketing campaigns and projects. The role involves managing service line strategies to ensure timely project delivery, maintaining brand presence at various events, and serving as a liaison to provide information about Billings Clinic services to community members, employers, and other target audiences. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and coordination with vendors and internal teams to support marketing initiatives and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic's mission, vision, values, code of business conduct, and service expectations.
  • Coordinates marketing project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules.
  • Ensures work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Acts as a liaison between property owners and project team members regarding changes or problems.
  • Selects, negotiates with, and coordinates the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors.
  • Responsible for material management and delivery scheduling tasks in support of assigned projects.
  • Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares reports for management.
  • Serves as a point of contact for marketing requests and assigns tasks to appropriate team members.
  • Coordinates all aspects of targeted marketing events, including open houses, health fairs, conference exhibits, and educational programs.
  • Coordinates staff for special events, manages catering, supporting materials, and budget planning.
  • Utilizes Brand Center to create basic flyers supporting events.
  • Provides project planning and support for organizational communications.
  • Maintains inventory and ordering of premiums, oversees marketing storage, and manages historical materials.
  • Promotes clinical services to local and regional employers and maintains employer relationships.
  • Participates in building connections between clinical departments to cross-sell services.
  • Engages employees in volunteering and community events sponsored by Billings Clinic.
  • Maintains department budget and oversees invoice payments, preparing reports on budget spending.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in marketing, communication, journalism, business administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in graphic design, writing, marketing/public relations, or marketing communications.
  • 3 years of experience with personal computers and software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, graphic design, and web design.
  • Experience in writing and development of written/verbal communications.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Health care experience and knowledge is desirable.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the tasks, knowledge, skills, and abilities listed.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing inventory management and materials logistics.
  • Experience with vendor negotiation and project stakeholder communication.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software and tools.
  • Experience in event coordination and community outreach projects.

Qualifications
