Job Description

About the Role

This is a project-based role for a Marketing, Qualitative Assessments, Analyst at The Consortium, Inc., lasting approximately 9 weeks with potential extension. The position involves supporting the Brand Social team in evaluating national social media accounts through qualitative and quantitative assessments, research, and report delivery. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of experience in marketing, data collection, or social media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide research support to the Brand Social team in the evaluation of national social media accounts.
  • Develop materials to support evaluation, including online/email surveys, checklists, and reports.
  • Review all channels (~100) to assess activity level per provided guidelines.
  • Assign social media channels to defined categories and identify gaps in contact information for research.
  • Create and field pre-evaluation questionnaires using an approved platform, build out a 10-question survey, and deliver to recipients.
  • Collect responses after one week, organize data, and report findings to the Brand Social team.
  • Perform qualitative assessments based on provided guidelines, reviewing questionnaire responses and channels for content strategy, audience, and category alignment.
  • Perform quantitative assessments of channels' performance against defined categories using a numeric scale.
  • Create and deliver final reports with findings to inform actions by the Brand Social team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or social media role.
  • At least 1 year of experience using enterprise social media tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.
  • Professional experience collecting and organizing data, performing research, and writing reports.
  • Clear understanding of social media analytics and deriving insights from data.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with online survey tools such as SurveyMonkey is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fielding surveys using online tools such as SurveyMonkey.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent.
