About the Role

The Marketing Science team at Meta is actively seeking a full time Marketing Science Manager to lead a team supporting a large eCommerce advertiser. The role involves transforming advertising performance and industry practices through data-driven analytical methods, supporting strategy design and implementation, influencing industry standards, and ensuring all marketing efforts are measurable. The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders across various teams and external partners to deliver strategic measurement, research, and actionable insights that meet client needs. The position requires expertise in data analytics, research, statistics, or digital advertising effectiveness, with a focus on high-impact projects and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Marketing Science Partners responsible for driving advertisers to measure true business value by operationalising analyses and research that demonstrate the value of Meta's advertising business.
  • Set and execute an overall measurement strategy for a large eCommerce advertiser, including supporting global alignment on the strategy.
  • Coach a team on providing strategic recommendations and actionable, evidence-based insights and guidance to clients and the wider industry.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on business objectives and strategies.
  • Provide feedback to and collaborate with Product, R&D, and Partnerships teams to identify opportunities for new features, products, and partnerships.
  • Occasionally dive into technical projects to provide detailed guidance and strategic direction.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in data & analytics, research or ad effectiveness.
  • Experience in building, managing and motivating individuals and teams.
  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, statistics, economics, behavioral or social science or a related field.
  • A solid understanding of online advertising and data-driven marketing techniques, including ad effectiveness measurement.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, experimental design, modeling, or advertising research.
  • Experience creating action based on data-driven insights, influencing advertiser planning and buying behavior.
  • Effective communication skills for connecting with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver results independently.
  • SQL skills for data analysis and dataset mining.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with basic commands in R and/or Python.
  • An advanced degree in psychology, statistics, economics, behavioral or social science or a related field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, research, or ad effectiveness.
