About the Role

Capco Marketing Services is a maturing Capco practice committed to solving our client's most difficult challenges related to digital and marketing strategy, operations, transformation, and expansion. Our industry experts work closely with Capco's strategy teams and core delivery domains, including Banking and Payments, Wealth and Asset Management, Insurance, and Capital Markets to define, design, and build bespoke solutions to real-world problems leveraging new and emerging technologies. We combine advanced technologies including artificial intelligence, analytics, change management expertise, and modern delivery, to rapidly get our clients to market with a better solution. The role of the Marketing Technology and Operations Lead involves helping clients select and mature their use of marketing technology, data, and analytics, and implementing efficient, scaled marketing operations to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance within their marketing functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify and define the target-state of marketing operations for our clients, and map the path forward
  • Assist clients in understanding which digital and marketing capabilities are needed to deliver on their marketing strategies, and recommend solutions for closing gaps
  • Recommend changes to clients' marketing technology to fully enable the customer journey, including activation and use of data in delivering content through the right channels
  • Define target-state marketing operating models and support transition from linear campaign execution to more agile ways of working
  • Support the redesign and automation of clients' campaign management processes
  • Define marketing measurement strategies and oversee the creation and implementation of dashboards and data visualizations
  • Coach client stakeholders and team members on effective marketing operations at scale and prepare them for change readiness
  • Document training, job aid, and procedural content for target state marketing operations and technology
  • Establish trusted relationships with client leadership at all levels and manage a portfolio of initiatives to their satisfaction
  • Support engagement leads with client delivery and remediate blockers
  • Provide thought leadership on key metrics, outcomes, and reporting related to marketing-led customer experiences
  • Assess and report project health with objectivity and transparency, engaging appropriate partners in risk mitigation
  • Contribute to the ongoing definition of services within the Marketing Services practice
  • Create dashboards, synthesize data, and present insights to executive leadership
  • Build strong client relationships and collaborate with diverse leaders
  • Communicate ideas, status, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Contribute to internal talent development and training initiatives
  • Support business development and sales pursuits

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in marketing technology and operations or an equivalent background in marketing operational disciplines including marketing technology, campaign management, campaign reporting, and data activation
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional delivery teams in a large enterprise environment
  • 5+ years of project management experience with proven project management skills
  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry and operating at a senior leadership level
  • Deep understanding of current trends in marketing operations and foundational capabilities for delivering personalization at scale
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
  • Experience working in a geographically distributed and culturally diverse work group
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and handling unexpected situations with flexibility
