About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to promote Senior Planet programs for various clients.
• Offer personalized support to callers across multiple Senior Planet phone lines.
• Promote Senior Planet resources to every caller.
• Assist callers in connecting to low-cost internet services when needed.
• Use the Senior Planet approach to provide step-by-step technology guidance.
• Respond to emails following established guidelines.
• Contribute to the Senior Planet Community social platform.
• Utilize job tools such as telephony, CRM systems, scripts, and internal communication platforms.
• Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately.
• Complete assigned tasks during periods of low call volume.
• Attend and actively participate in on-camera team meetings.
• Complete all required trainings promptly.
• Follow all standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of professional or volunteer experience working with older adults.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in social services.
• Willingness and availability to work shifts between 9am and 8pm, Monday through Friday; schedules may change monthly.
• Ability to switch effectively between different work modes (calls, campaigns, email, service, tech support).
• Skill in following established procedures and seeking creative solutions when necessary.
• Strong ability to guide callers clearly through resolution steps.
• Accurate and efficient typing skills.
• Empathetic, patient, curious, driven, outgoing, and able to handle challenging customers.

Nice to Have

• Experience providing technology support to older adults.
• Familiarity with telephony and CRM systems, scripts, and online community platforms.
• Training experience in digital literacy programs.
• Previous contributions to social platforms or digital content for seniors.
