The portfolio includes top-rated television stations, digital media properties, video production companies, and studio facilities. WMTV is the NBC affiliate serving south central Wisconsin, recognized for its news and weather coverage, located in Madison, Wisconsin, with a state-of-the-art facility and a strong team dedicated to delivering accurate and immediate information.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business and deliver advertising results for clients
Identify and present marketing solutions to a variety of local businesses in different fields
Prospect for new accounts by making cold calls to secure needs analysis meetings and generate interest in programs and products
Research accounts and the marketplace on a consistent basis
Work with Creative Services on commercial production, Traffic department on advertising copy traffic, and Finance department on invoicing, discrepancies, and collections

Requirements

Personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effectively manage time and resources
Effective problem-solving and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and follow-through
Understanding of core marketing principles
Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Valid driver's license with driving requirements
