About the Role

The Media Technology Lead at Uber is responsible for managing Uber's global media technology strategy, designing data and AI-driven media strategies to reach millions of consumers worldwide with maximum efficiency and relevance. The role involves overseeing partnerships with ad technology vendors and media agencies, implementing advanced targeting and predictive analytics, and transforming how Uber connects with audiences through innovative media solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help lead the media technology and data strategy for Uber Brand marketing globally.
  • Evaluate and execute the effective use of Marketing AI technologies.
  • Manage Uber's external media agency technology team to deliver best-in-class media targeting, optimization, and reporting.
  • Ensure all media and marketing targeting approaches are fully privacy-compliant.
  • Develop deep ad technology partnerships to access top-tier targeting and media reporting capabilities.
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to deliver impactful local campaigns through advanced targeting and personalization at scale.
  • Constantly test new targeting techniques and media technology features.
  • Collaborate with the in-house Performance Marketing team to ensure brand media strategies are consumer-first.
  • Act as a trusted subject matter expert on data, targeting, and AI, providing thought leadership and a clear vision for media technology.
  • Partner with Uber's Data Science team to create a robust media technology testing roadmap.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management and senior-level roles related to media technology and AI.
  • Ability to translate high-level strategy into flawless execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and a forward-thinking outlook.
  • Experience managing partnerships with ad technology vendors and media agencies.
  • Knowledge of privacy-compliant media and marketing targeting approaches.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional marketing units.
  • Familiarity with advanced targeting, predictive analytics, generative AI, and autonomous agents.
