About the Role

The National Business Director (NBD) at Amplity Health is responsible for the strategy, performance, and financial success of the program. This role involves collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, leading a team of sales managers and representatives, and ensuring program goals, metrics, and financial measurements are achieved or exceeded. The NBD oversees employee performance and employment experiences, supports client program goals, and acts as a key business partner to the client, with a focus on maximizing resources and improving impact for biopharma clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales managers and representatives to achieve and/or exceed revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities for growth and increased revenue.
  • Create and manage budgets for sales initiatives and provide ongoing reporting and analysis to the executive team.
  • Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies to achieve client and corporate goals.
  • Communicate team objectives in ways that promote teamwork and shared goals among team members.
  • Effectively plan and facilitate required meetings.
  • Evaluate employee territory performance and monitor productivity, metrics, workload, and output, ensuring compliance with policies and addressing issues through corrective actions.
  • Ensure all candidate interviews and hired employees are managed in an EEO compliant manner.
  • Maintain required technical and product expertise including competitive knowledge.
  • Ensure full compliance with all laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines relevant to the role.
  • Successfully complete all required client and product training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • At least 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales leadership experience on a regional or national level, with 5+ years preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Strong strategic, analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience developing and managing budgets for sales teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
  • Valid US driver's license with a safe driving record.

Nice to Have

  • Pediatrics experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales leadership experience on a regional or national level.

  • Salary of approximately $205K - $215K with bonus potential.
