The role of Senior Marketing Director, Strategic Activation, Americas, involves leading integrated marketing programs to elevate Oliver Wyman's commercial priorities, connecting brand, content, media, events, and client engagement to achieve measurable business impact. The position requires a sophisticated marketer who thrives in a dynamic environment and operates at both strategic and tactical levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and activate cross‑functional campaigns tied to Oliver Wyman's most pressing client issues and growth priorities.
  • Integrate owned content, earned and paid media, events, sponsorships, and digital experiences into coherent, high‑impact programs with clear accountability.
  • Drive results with clear KPIs, including increased awareness, deeper client engagement, growth in qualified demand and pipeline, media presence, and executive visibility.
  • Use AI tools and automation to increase marketing velocity, scale personalization, and surface deeper insights.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration across internal teams, aligning regional marketing efforts with national and firmwide initiatives.
  • Partner with communications and thought leadership teams to amplify Oliver Wyman's influential voices through media, events, and digital platforms.
  • Establish dashboards and reporting frameworks to track campaign performance, implement regular review rhythms, and optimize based on insights.
  • Design and scale ABM programs for priority accounts, aligning with account teams to deepen engagement and accelerate opportunities.
  • Build a performance engine across channels with clear funnel definitions, lead routing, and a test‑and‑learn roadmap.
  • Build, lead, and develop a direct team of marketers, establishing an agile operating model that integrates campaign strategy, ABM, content, media, events, and digital.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in integrated B2B marketing or communications roles, ideally within consulting, professional services, or a similarly matrixed, global firm.
  • Strong understanding of how to bring complex ideas to market—translating strategy into storytelling.
  • Proven success building and scaling multi‑channel campaigns tied to business growth.
  • Fluency in both industry‑specific and cross‑industry go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Comfort with AI and emerging tools that power efficiency.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills—with a track record of influence across teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing direct reports and cross‑functional squads.
  • Passion for brand, creativity, commercial outcomes, and the client voice.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within consulting, professional services, or similar industries.
  • Experience with marketing automation, intent signals, and journey analytics.
  • Familiarity with setting KPIs and measurement frameworks for marketing campaigns.
