About the Role

The University of West Florida is seeking an OPS Social Media Specialist - Art and Design responsible for developing, curating, and managing content for the Department of Art and Design across all social media platforms as well as the university website. The role involves promoting the department's programs, events, exhibitions, faculty, students, and alumni, with a focus on recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, curate, and manage content for the Department of Art and Design across all social media platforms and the university website.
Promote the department's programs, events, exhibitions, faculty, students, and alumni.
Focus on recruitment efforts through social media content.

Requirements

Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Art, Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong visual and written communication skills.
Experience with photography, video editing, and graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite).
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Positions require specialized knowledge or skills which may be acquired through experience and/or technical training.
This position requires a criminal background screen.

Qualifications
