About the Role

Randolph Community College is seeking a creative and mission-driven Program Marketing Assistant to support the promotion of its Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. This part-time position specializes in video and photo production and plays a key role in telling the story of RCC's workforce programs through compelling, inclusive, and visually engaging content. The role involves working closely with the Office of College Marketing, academic deans, and department heads to drive strategic enrollment efforts, develop marketing strategies, and highlight high-demand programs, career pathways, and student success stories. A central focus is expanding access and awareness among Perkins V-defined special populations, supporting RCC's mission to provide access to career-focused education and align with the college's Strategic Enrollment Management goals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce high-quality video and photo content that highlights CTE programs and special events, ensuring alignment with program goals and institutional branding.
Serve as the primary creative resource for visual storytelling, including writing scripts, storyboarding, shooting, editing, and graphic design for program promotions.
Assist OCM team to create marketing collateral for assigned programs and special events by driving messaging and marketing strategy through a variety of media platforms.
Work with OCM to identify and profile target demographics for assigned programs while analyzing trends and student preferences to target marketing efforts.
Assist in planning and implementing innovative visual marketing strategies to meet program enrollment goals.
Manage and organize digital assets related to video and photo production.
Work with OCM to customize marketing campaigns for each assigned program utilizing various marketing methods and strategies focused on reaching prospective students and increasing enrollment.
Evaluate the effectiveness of visual marketing campaigns by tracking engagement metrics and contributing to data analysis.
Coordinate with student success, workforce development, and instructional teams to ensure all marketing reflects RCC's commitment to CTE program access and student success.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in videography/photography with a focus on multimedia/advertising demonstrated by a professional portfolio.

Nice to Have

AAS in Photography, Videography, Graphic Design or a related field.
Experience working in educational, workforce development, or nonprofit marketing.
Familiarity with strategies that reach and resonate with special populations.

Qualifications
