The Part‑Time Content Production Specialist (Automotive Social Media) role at The Automotive Advertising Agency involves capturing engaging automotive visuals for dealership partners' digital platforms. The position requires a creative, tech‑savvy individual responsible for producing high-quality photo and video content to enhance social media presence, primarily on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This is a part-time, contract-based role based in Colonie, NY, with a hybrid remote work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

Capture high‑quality photography and video on dealership lots
Produce vehicle walk‑around footage and feature spotlights
Film employee highlights and customer testimonials
Collect raw vertical/horizontal assets for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc. (no editing required)
Generate fresh, viral content ideas with the social media team
Attend on‑site shoots 1-2 times per week

Requirements

Proven experience shooting social‑first photo and video content (portfolio or social links required)
Own professional gear: mirrorless/DSLR (1080p/60 fps or higher), stabilizer/gimbal, external mic, basic lighting kit
Strong grasp of current social media trends and short‑form storytelling
Ability to craft compelling visual narratives quickly and follow brand guidelines
Comfortable working outdoors and interacting with dealership staff and customers
