Job Description

About the Role

This is a part-time role for Pearson Campus Ambassadors at Boise State University. PCAs gain real-world experience by collaborating with product and marketing teams, working on virtual projects, providing feedback, and creating content to engage students and promote Pearson products. The role emphasizes professional communication skills, teamwork, and campus engagement, offering opportunities to develop career-ready skills and expand professional networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the local Pearson team on campus through digital presentations, sales calls, and technology registration tables.
  • Provide valuable feedback on Pearson products through focus groups, surveys, and other projects.
  • Create content for Pearson's global brand across major social media platforms to engage students on campus and beyond.
  • Participate in in-person activities 1-2 times per month, including delivering back-to-school help and faculty presentations.
  • Complete an average of 5-7 virtual projects each month, including participating in focus groups, testing products, completing surveys, and creating social media content.
  • Attend 3-4 virtual calls per month.
  • Help create content for the Pearson brand, interact with Pearson social media accounts, and share Pearson content on personal social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Currently an undergraduate student (freshman or sophomore) at Boise State University with a 3.0 GPA or greater.
  • Open to all majors and able to commit to work for one academic year.
  • Preferably at least one semester of experience using Pearson+ and related technologies such as MyLab, Mastering, or REVEL.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and proactive with the ability to manage independent projects with limited supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, energetic and outgoing relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work 5-10 hours per week during the academic year, including some planning before each semester.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Pearson+ and related educational technologies such as MyLab, Mastering, or REVEL.

Qualifications

  • Currently an undergraduate student (freshman or sophomore) at Boise State University.
