About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and launch A/B and multivariate tests in Optimizely to optimize user experiences and drive measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to design and implement complex A/B and multivariate tests that drive significant business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain front-end components in React (and related frameworks) that integrate seamlessly with the experimentation platform.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate hypotheses into scalable test implementations.
• Analyze experiment results and transform data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Own the experimentation infrastructure—from feature-flag management through production release operations—to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and secure the Optimizely environment, proactively mitigating performance and security risks.
• Drive CI/CD capabilities, continuously improving build, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Champion engineering excellence by participating in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions, and by mentoring peers informally.
• Stay current on experimentation, front-end, and DevOps trends, bringing fresh ideas and tools to the team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of front-end engineering experience with a strong focus on experimentation and A/B testing.
• Demonstrated ability to own staging environments, feature flags, and production releases in a fast-paced SaaS context.
• Proven success establishing or enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Extensive, hands-on expertise with Optimizely (or a comparable platform).
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML, and CSS.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, modern JS build tools, modern front-end frameworks, and Git.
