Product Manager - Coatings

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product plans that drive share and/or revenue growth
• Track customer care, dashboard, metrics, consumer feedback, and customer satisfaction to measure performance and the effectiveness of existing and new functionalities and features
• Collaborate with senior managers to define the product roadmap by developing market-specific problem statements, using business cases, scenarios, sharing recommendations and results
• Design and implement product launches for offline and online channels
• Complete competitive analysis and provide insights to the General Manager
• Support channel partners with sales collateral, best practices, and training
• Collaborate cross-functionally on competitor pricing, market development, item analytics, selling and field solutions
• Approve press releases, marketing bulletins, and new product launches
• Communicate and train Sales, Customer Service, Tech Services, and other departments on product lines
• Collaborate with Quality and Testing teams and provide priority direction
• Conduct ongoing product lifecycle reviews and work on product rationalization
• Determine product pricing based on market research, costs, and demand
• Manage a product team, providing coaching, direction, and leading by example
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5 years of marketing experience, knowledgeable within towing, military specifications, and automotive parts and accessories
• Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related field
• Practical knowledge of media blasting, pretreatment process, electrodeposition (E-Coat) paints, powder paints, and liquid paints
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and shift priorities
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across all functional areas
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders internally and with customers externally
• High attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• Ability to lift 50 pounds periodically
• Ability to sit for long periods and work indoors in office and manufacturing environments

• MBA or Master's Degree

• Work experience in marketing within relevant industries
• Educational background in business or marketing
• Knowledge of media blasting, pretreatment, electrodeposition paints, powder paints, and liquid paints
