About the Role

The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is a strategic contributor responsible for the marketing success of impactful and innovative healthcare solutions at FDB. This role combines healthcare domain knowledge with modern B2B marketing expertise to create compelling stories that drive demand, engagement, and adoption. The PMM collaborates with product managers, subject matter experts, vendors, and internal teams to develop and execute marketing programs supporting product launches, demand generation, upselling, and cross-selling, ultimately contributing to the company's growth. The position is based in South San Francisco, CA or Carmel, IN, and involves a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive comprehensive go-to-market strategy for assigned product lines, ensuring commercial readiness and internal alignment.
  • Act as the marketing liaison for product lines and verticals with cross-functional teams to align messaging, growth targets, and customer needs.
  • Lead positioning, segmentation, competitive differentiation, and voice-of-customer initiatives.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns using AI-powered tools, ABM platforms, marketing automation, and emerging B2B strategies.
  • Experiment with and implement new digital formats such as interactive demos, personalization, predictive targeting, and AI-driven content scaling.
  • Collaborate with digital and sales operations teams to optimize segmentation, scoring, attribution, and funnel performance.
  • Lead launch planning and execution for new products and enhancements, ensuring integrated efforts across marketing, product, sales, and client-facing teams.
  • Develop messaging frameworks, value propositions, battle cards, sales presentations, and content strategies aligned with buyer personas.
  • Support and evolve partner and channel marketing collaborations where applicable.
  • Craft product narratives, thought leadership content, campaign copy, and sales enablement tools.
  • Translate clinical, technical, and business concepts into accessible messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate on market research, customer interviews, competitive analysis, and trend assessments to inform strategy.
  • Define and track key performance metrics, analyze data for optimization, and report on campaign impact.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead go-to-market strategy for complex products with clinical, regulatory, or high-value sales cycles.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams and executives.
  • Adept at managing external vendors, freelancers, and agencies.
  • Passionate, intellectually curious, and motivated by continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adjusting to evolving business and market needs.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience writing for executive and clinical audiences.
  • Ability to independently generate high-quality written content.
  • 7+ years of B2B product marketing experience in healthcare IT, digital health, clinical technology, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Deep understanding of modern B2B marketing strategies, including ABM, generative AI tools, and campaign measurement.
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing automation, demand generation, digital marketing, and advertising tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the US 6-12 times per year for industry events and meetings.

  • Experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT.
  • Experience with account-based marketing platforms.
  • Experience in healthcare, clinical, or regulatory environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant B2B healthcare marketing experience.
